A scientist by nature, an artist at heart...

I've always loved science and art, asking questions about the world we live in, and discovering how things work. What better way to share my fascination with science than through beautiful imagery?

Today I specialize in conceptual illustrations and information graphics for research journals, college-level textbooks, and other scientific publications. In my free time I enjoy acrylic painting and pen and ink drawing.

Areas of expertise:
Vector graphics (diagrams/graphs/technical figures); traditional media (acrylic/pen and ink); conceptual art; structuring information hierarchies; combining professional typography with images; copyediting figures and text; layout design; working one-on-one with scientists, authors, publishers and art directors; maintaining accuracy and consistency; facilitating understanding of complex concepts "at a glance."
